CyberTech Asia will make its India debut in Mumbai in March 2027, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Friday. The event is expected to bring an international cybersecurity and digital innovation platform to Maharashtra.
The announcement follows discussions between Fadnavis, CyberTech Global founder Amir Rapaport and Israeli Consul General Yaniv Revach at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Varsha, in south Mumbai.
According to Fadnavis, the meeting covered Maharashtra’s MahaCyber initiative, emerging technologies and cybersecurity practices.
MahaCyber is a state government framework and nodal agency focused on investigating, preventing and combating digital threats and online fraud across Maharashtra.
The discussions highlighted cybersecurity as an important area of cooperation as digital technologies continue to expand across industries and public services.
Fadnavis said Maharashtra looked forward to collaborating with Rapaport and Revach to bring CyberTech Asia to Mumbai.
He also thanked them for inviting him to attend CyberTech Global in Tel Aviv in January 2027.
CyberTech Global is an international exhibition and conference platform focused on cybersecurity and digital innovation. Its events provide a forum for industry participants to discuss technologies, emerging threats and cybersecurity practices.
The Mumbai edition in March 2027 will mark the platform’s first appearance in India, according to the announcement.
The proposed event aligns with discussions around cybersecurity, emerging technologies and digital innovation in Maharashtra.
Bringing an international industry platform to Mumbai could create opportunities for technology companies, cybersecurity professionals and other participants to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
Further details about the Mumbai event, including its venue, schedule and participating organisations, were not included in the announcement.
